We have redesigned the conventional chequer plate traditionally made from thick heavy aluminium into a more dynamic wow and rigger real carbon fibre chequer plate design. Reducing weight and wind/shear noise whilst increasing strength to weight ratio and adding a chamfered edge to give the product a high class finish.
This full set will only fit the Defender 110 model If you have a Defender 90 you can still purchase the Bonnet and Wing Toppers separately, please see our other products.
The chequer plate comes with pre location marks for drill holes or this can be bonded to the body using either a heavy duty VHB waterproof double sided tape 10mm x 3m or Sikaflex 291 sealant. This will seal ingress, water and dirt and will reduce wind noise. We can supply this for an additional cost if you do not wish to drill and rivet to the body of your vehicle.
